A Community for Young Entrepreneurs
I recently came across another blog and resource for entrepreneurs, but this one has a twist: it is specifically for young entrepreneurs. Simply called YoungEntreprenuer.com, the site offers a place for young adults who have been bitten by the entrepreneurial bug to gather and get advice. Founded by brothers Matthew and Adam Toren, the site offers a forum for members to discuss topics ranging from how to get investors to the news of the day, a blog that includes entrepreneur profiles, and even a list of legal forms and documents to help in running a business.
I was directed to the site from this blog post: The Top 10 Mistakes People Make When Starting A Business. Some of the mistakes include not having enough money, losing momentum, not hiring right away and not joining a community. They are all pretty simple ideas, but good ones to read, and good ones to mention on a site specifically for young entrepreneurs.
After perusing the blog a bit more, I found some posts about Search Engine Optimization (a favorite topic as of late here on MerchandEYES) and even a fun post featuring the top ten movies to motivate entrepreneurs.
If you fit the target audience of YoungEntrepreneur.com, check it out. If you are a veteran and are more young at heart, definitely stop by, comment on the blog and give some of your expert advice.
nice article!
